I have thinking about how to do family history on my blog, so I have decided to do family history down to great grandparents first. I will begin with Mama Goodall's mother's family, the Kenneys.
The Kenney family originated in Ireland. Patrick Kenney married Nancy Moore in Ireland and moved to America. Their daughter Mary Kenney was born in South Carolina. She later married Sam Owens in Tennessee. Their daughter Malinda Jane Owen was born November 27, 1830. On March 3, 1849, she married Thomas Patrick (T.P.) Kenney who was born October 17, 1823. They had four children: Laura Frances who married Walter L. Purnell; Jordan Franklin who married Minnie Hubbard; Calvin who married Eliza Bolton and Bettie who married Jim Norris. T.P. Kenney died November 5, 1982 and Malinda died September 22, 1913.
