Era Earl Goodall Denton

Era Earl was the oldest daughter of Ada and Earl Goodall. She was born August 16, 1915. She married Albert Denton. They had two children: Robert Gray (Bobby) and Dorothy Annette (Annette).

Albert and Era Earl owned Denton's and Furniture and Appliances in Goodlettsville , Tennessee. They moved to their beautiful Maple Valley Ranch in Charlotte, Tennessee, after retirement and lived there many happy years.

Era Earl loved writing poems, the Chuck Wagon Gang and Hawaiian music. Many of her poems were published in a booklet called Be Still by her children. She was also published in several Christian magazines. E, as she was known among family and friends, loved to sing. She really enjoyed playing her Hawaiian guitar.

Our family lost E December 11, 2008. I miss her so much, but what wonderful memories she left with me and all who loved her.
